René Kappeler was an inspiration for many guitarists worldwide. He always tried to explore the basics of the technique in classical guitar playing and he wrote several guitar valuable guitar instructions and editions. Together with Francois Corbellari, he developed new approaches to classical guitar making. He was a pioneer for Switzerland and his ideas live in his students and his wonderful guitars. I personally thank René Kappeler for his extremely valuable lessons and the inspiration he gave me fro many years to keep improving my playing and my love fro the guitar.
